For the past seven years, I have taught Screenwriting at Vanderbilt
University, in Nashville.

In January, I teach screenwriting at the University School of Nashville. It's part of their continuing education courses for adults. Three hours for three nights. Open to the public. 615/321-8019

Also, I teach private screenwriting classes.

Over several weeks, I walk you through the building blocks of screenwriting. Starting with idea and genre, structure, building characters, outlines, more structure, format, dialogue, rewriting, etc.

By the end of the course, you will write at least the first act of a script as well as a detailed outline for the rest of your movie.
